Having all of that in such a little tool would be great! Now, I don't know has anyone made their own Paint program that's as lightweight as others except not using dependencies and other bloats that make launching the program like a total chore and if it's under a permissive license (MIT/BSD). For example: layers, multiple undo/redo, multiple zooms, making text while zoomed, magic wand, laso select, selection mode (replace, add, subtract, xor), draw inside selection, RGB hex color picker, swap primary and secondary color, Gaussian blur on selection, gradient on shapes and selections, loading/saving multiple pallettes, blending modes for drawing shapes and for layers, more friendly drawing of polygons and curves with midsteps, Gaussian blur on selections and layers, alpha masking layers, transparency on layers, layer visibility and locking, nested layers, import/export layer content (like Load From and Save To) GIF animation import/export without lossy compression and bad colors, open/save as a project file that saves the undo/redo buffer so that I don't lose anything, rename option like with Notepad++ to end my childhood drauma (drama trauma, da bum tss) of wrongly saving and having OCD, option to clear the Undo buffer, Undo history. I was thinking about what if there was a custom version of that program, but which had extra features. However, I miss MS Paint of Windows XP a lot, and that pallette loading feature from the Windows 95 edition. Ever since I've heard of layers in Paint.NET, I stopped using MS Paint.
